I know I have said many times in the past that Dr. Seuss is my hero, but to tell you the truth...he's got some competition going now.
JESUS:. Beaten, scorned, raised upon a tree/For my sin, it was laid on thee/For my sin, it was bled by He.
dr.THEODORE SEUSS:. What can I say? This man was genius. "My alphabet starts with this letter called yuzz. It's the letter I use to spell yuzz-a-ma-tuzz. You'll be sort of surprised what there is to be found once you go beyond 'Z' and start poking around!”
ZABOOMAFOO:. He tells the best stories. He finds the strangest things. And he is loved by all. Who doesn't wake up a little earlier just to watch Zaboomafoo?
I must say, there are many amazing people I could talk about on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on but there are two people in particular that really kind of brought my focus back on God.
1) my MOMMY:. How patient she is with my bad attitudes and bad hair days and just bad everythings. She encourages me to keep going and not get caught up in myself and my sin but focus on the cross in times of need, times of blessing, and times of "AAH-I-CAN'T-FIND-MY-HAIR-BRUSH!" God sent just the right one for me. I couldn't ask for a better mom.
2) Dearest (Alysha Lyn):. If you read her blog, you will see a conversation we had earlier today and I expressed my silly fears and once again she reminded me of God's sovereignty and amazing grace. She is my super-friend. And a super-trooper. And a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious friend and sister in Christ.
WORD OF THE DAY:
