okanagan lake.

When I see this picture, it makes me think of our God Almighty. No particular reason why, other than the gorgeous night sky taking over the quiet daylight. If you look closely, you can see the lake is still, the mountains are near, and people are inside their houses washing dishes together as family and singing songs before bed. This was taken a few years ago, but every once in a while I go back and am reminded, once again, of God's amazing beauty. God's amazing love, and His amazing mercy. No matter how many times I fail [and trust me, it's a lot], He picks me back up again and we start afresh each day. As I work myself up these steep and narrow stairs, I can only remind myself of this picture, and how much more magnificent the beauty will be when I reach the top. After all the ups-and-downs and side-to-sides and places that I have no idea why I went there, I can only have one thing in mind. That I am doing it for His glory in a much bigger and breathtaking picture.

since i have never even heard of ogopogo, i'll comment on the actual post. ;)

it is neat how God uses memory and nature to speak to us.
i love how you never remember what you expect to. (if that makes sense)

i will find her. we are buds. she will just come to me.
she doesn't kill or hurt anyone, that's not how all those dumb people died. they died because of their own mistakes. she is quite a pleasant lass.
