here, LORD, I give myself away; 'tis all that I can do.
Alas! And Did My Saviour Bleed [Isaac Watts]
Alas! and did my Savior bleed,
And did my Sovereign die!
Would he devote that sacred head
For sinners such as I?
Was it for crimes that I have done,
he groaned upon the tree?
Amazing pity! Grace unknown!
And love beyond degree!
Well might the sun in darkness hide,
and shut its glories in,
when God, the mighty maker, died
for his own creature's sin
Thus might I hide my blushing face
while his dear cross appears;
dissolve my heart in thankfulness,
and melt mine eyes to tears
But drops of tears can ne'er repay
the debt of love I owe
Here, Lord, I give myself away;
'tis all that I can do

Good post...
Wait isn't it my tree though?
dig that picture. ..... wait..... i took it.
i apretiated that tree cause it was beautiful and old and made me want to sing jack johnson, but i hated it because i couldn't climb it.
you could have climbed it als. it's not like i was graceful or quick at it...hahaha but i did lovingly embrace the whole sloth thing.
ohhh the sloth thing. one of the best parts of the tree.
i don’t think anyone was really graceful on the tree. getting up or down.
we will go back. and als, you WILL climb it. i believe in you!
